Focus and Scope
The African Journal of International Affairs and Development (AJIAD) began its course in 1995 as a bi-annual devoted to the study of Africa in global affairs and development. Initially appearing as a combined volume in 1999 it was able to publish as two separate issues. Not that we have acquired immunity from the ongoing crisis in African publishing, but the journal's expanding subscriber base, particularly in North America and South Africa, together with improved Its coverage also includes legal, political, diplomatic, economic, sociocultural, military and security issues at the core of Africa's foreign relations and world affairs. Matters relating to the environment, development, conflict and cooperation are raised.
