The study investigated the effect of current and relevant information sources on the use of library services in the university libraries in the southeast of Nigeria. Two objectives, two research questions and two hypotheses guided this study. The population for this study was made up of 12,500 registered users out of which a sample of 2000 was taken using proportionate sampling technique.
