Vulture News is the journal of the IUCN Vulture Specialist Group and is published by the Birds of Prey Programme of South Africa’s Endangered Wildlife Trust. There are two volumes published each year.
Vulture News is an important venue for contributions from researchers and enthusiasts around the world. This international journal has been widely acclaimed and acts as a medium for the exchange of ideas and publication of results concerning the biology and conservation of vultures and condors. Papers with a strong conservation biology focus and/or analyses of specialist data are encouraged. All full articles are subject to double blind peer-review.
Embargo Period: As of 2012 Vulture News has implemented a 12 month moving wall on its subscription content - therefore all archival content older than 1 year will be made freely available online.
Note: this journal resumed its normal publishing schedule in 2011.
