Editorial Policies
Focus and Scope
Published by the Nigerian Association for Aquatic Sciences which was founded in 1984 with the objectives of fostering the pursuit of scientific research and dissemination of research findings in the area of Aquatic Biology and Aquatic Sciences, the Journal of Aquatic Sciences first made its appearance in 1986.
Until recently published as an annual volume, the journal now appears as two issues per annum.
NIGERIAN ASSOCIATION FOR AQUATIC SCIENCES
The Nigerian Association for Aquatic Sciences is a non-political and non-governmental organization of over 1,500 professional scientists involved in planning, management, extension, research and education. The association was founded in February 1984 by Prof. E. B. C Ufodike. The maiden volume of her journal, Journal of Aquatic Sciences was published in April 1986. The objectives of the Association are to foster the pursuit of scientific research and dissemination of research findings in all area of Aquatic Sciences and to join in these goals with similar scientists.
