Jnoa is a cooperate journal of the Nigerian Optometric Association. The journal publishes any good article either from research or clinical experiences as it concerns the eye, the eye and other related health issues like nutrition, pharmacology, ethnomedicine, diseases, occupation, etc

Peer Review Process

Authors submit in an A4 double spaced copy of their manuscript in triplicates. One is usually retained with the editor while two copies are sent out to different reviewers who specialise on the main topic of the research. Before the copies are sent out, the author(s) name (s) is (are) deleted alongside the address (es). The editorial committee will then sit and consider the reviewers’ reports and decide whether to accept or reject the manuscript. Manuscripts accepted for publication are returned to the authors with the reviewers report for correction. The corrected copies are still studied by the editorial board to ensure proper adherence by the author before the work is finally enlisted for publication

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
