About the Journal
Peer Review
All submissions to the JSSD are preliminarily checked by the editor for suitability for adherence to the journal’s stylistic requirements. Those that are found to be generally suitable are assigned to section editors for screening, after which those that are deemed acceptable are subjected to double blind peer review (by at least 2 reviewers). As in any other editorial peer review system, authors of manuscripts needing revision are provided with feedback and their corrections are examined by the editor/reviewers, depending on whether the corrections are minor or major.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

JSSD is published annually in November.
