Diabetes In Pregnancy - A Clinical Review

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a disorder of insulin function that complicates up to 14% of pregnancies and is associatedwith an increased risk to the mother and/or the baby. There are a lot of controversies on the best way to diagnoseand manage this condition in pregnancy. This clinical review takes a look at the diagnosis and current treatmentoptions available in the management of this disorder.
