Abstract

Inflammatory Breast cancer is relatively rare disease and represents between 1 and 5 per cent of mammary cancers. The diagnosis of inflammatory breast cancer is essentially based on clinical criteria; it is characterized by a diffuse erythema associated with edema, often without palpable mass. We present the case of 45 years old female patient who presented two months before the consultation, an erythema of the left breast with pain without palpable nodule. The biopsy revealed an infiltrating ducal carcinoma with presence of vascular emboli. Every physician must be able to recognize this entity. Early and accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment by medical oncologist can make an important difference.
