Focus and Scope
The Tanzania Journal of Science (Tanz. J. Sci.) was established in 1975 as a forum for communication and co-ordination between and among scientists and allied professionals. It is also intended as a medium for dissemination of scientific knowledge among scientists and the public at large to promote the advancement of pure and applied sciences.The Journal (ISSN: 0856 1761) is published quarterly by the College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CoNAS) of the University of Dar es salaam (UDSM). It provides publications of articles in all areas of basic and applied sciences including mathematics. Scientific articles touching on socioeconomic aspects are also considered. The Journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. Papers will be published approximately two months after acceptance. All articles are peer-reviewed
