Peer Review

When a paper is received electronically, it is forwarded to two of the experts in the field. These experts are also sent evaluation form that enables them to score the paper for acceptability or otherwise. Papers scoring less than 50 marks are rejected. Those scoring above 50 but less than 80 would need retooling before publication. Papers scoring from 80 and above are accepted subject however to minor amendments. When the assessors return their reports, the authors are informed of the status – either accepted, accepted subject to amendment or rejected. Accepted authors are requested to pay a page fee of $150 as the paper is a hybrid quality journal.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Focus and Scope

WAJIAR provides a multidisciplinary forum for the publication of original research and technical papers, short communications, state-of-the-art developments in Information and communications technology, bio-medical informatics, computers, mathematics, control and information technology, physics, industrial electronics, management sciences and engineering, industry chemistry, general technology rocketry, space and astronomy, earth sciences, oceanography and the environment with special emphasis on the application of communications and information technology to these fields of importance. The journal will review papers on advances, techniques, practice and application of information technology in the above fields. The focus is publication of revolutionary research outputs From the industry and the academia that will have pronounced bearing on socio-economic and technological development in Africa and the black race.
