Abstract

Cyclophosphamide is an akylating agent widely used in the management of both malignant and non neoplastic disorders. We undertook this review to assess the advancement in knowledge regarding the aetiopathogenesis and current management approaches of haemorrhagic cystitis resulting from the use of cyclophosphamide. Our findings revealed that novel preventive and treatment modalities have been described and further evaluation is necessary to integrate them into mainstream orthodox practice.
