Influence of internal communication on employees' work performance Case Study: Katangoji Polytechnic Institute in the Academic Year 2023-2024

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of internal communication on the work performance of employees. The quantitative approach was then defined, as to the procedure used during the investigation. It was a case study applied at the Katangoji Polytechnic Institute. Exploratory and descriptive research was adopted, which provided a deeper understanding of the topic addressed. The data were processed using SPSS software. With the data obtained, it was possible to verify the influence of internal communication on the work performance of the employees of this institution, where on the one hand, the communication flow and the communication channels used contribute positively to work performance, while, on the other hand, communication barriers have a negative influence on the work performance of employees.
