“The ‘…Momentum of Change’ in Ewan Alufohai’s The Moto - Boy”

JA Agho

Road accidents are a recurring decimal in Nigeria and expectedly millions of lives have been lost due to this wanton carnage on Nigerian roads. Apart from the recklessness of road users, the poor state of the roads due to the shoddy attitudes of government agencies is responsible for this development. This is why our roads are still infested with potholes, lack of proper illumination and almost a complete absence of road signs and other traffic codes. In The Moto-Boy, Ewan Alufohai examines these problems from a fresh perspective and proffers logical solutions that will attenuate the problem.
