The utilisation and feeding value of milled woody plant species

Abstract

Trials were conducted where ground material of Tarchonanthus camphorates, Grewia flava and Terminalia sericea, supplemented with molasses and in some treatments with maize meal and/or urea, were fed to Afrikaner cows. Digestibility studies on Tarchonanthus camphorates and Grewia flava plus molasses were conducted with sheep.
