Veld management in the proposed Valley of 1 000 Hills Nature Reserve

Abstract

A nature reserve has been planned for the southern edge of the Valley of 1 000 Hills in Natal. The animals which it is intended to re-introduce are discussed. A management system intended to maintain the present plant communities is suggested.
