Abstract

People’s livelihoods and regional stability are often threatened by
demands on the natural resources of rangelands by different groups. Conflict
over landuse exists, for example, between conservationists and pastoralist,
pastoralists and crop farmers, water provision and pastoralists. Ways of resolving
this conflict and avoiding it in the future will be explored
