Studies on African zygaenoid moths (Lepidoptera: Zygaenoidea): <i>Parapsycharium</i> n.gen. (Somabrachyidae) from the Western Cape Province, South Africa

Abstract

A new genus, Parapsycharium n.gen. and its type species, P. paarlense, are described in Somabrachyidae. A key to the somabrachyid genera Somabrachys Kirby, Psycharium Herrich-Schäffer and Parapsycharium n.gen. is given. The description of the new taxon  includes the description of its final instar larva.
