Introduction

Keyan Tomaselli is Professor and Chair of Culture, Communication and Media Studies at the University of Kwazulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa. Professor Tomaselli has been a Fulbright Scholar and is the author of numerous papers and books on African cultural and media studies. Professor Tomaselli is co-editor of two book series on the African media.
