Disseminated histoplasmosis: a case report

Abstract

Histoplasmosis, a systemic mycosis caused by Histoplasma capsulatum, manifests clinically inimmuno compromised patients as acute or chronic pulmonary infection or as a progressive disseminated  disease. We report a case of a 26 year old HIV positive female patient who presented with a cough, rash and constitutional symptoms.
