Kahina Louani, Abdelkader Kebiche Copyright (c) 2023 https://www.ajol.info/index.php/cread/article/view/253827 Wed, 30 Aug 2023 00:00:00 +0000 The impact of fiscal policy on economic growth in Algeria: empirical study using SVAR model https://www.ajol.info/index.php/cread/article/view/253828
This study aims to analyze the impact of fiscal policy on economic growth in Algeria using the Autoregressive Structural Vector Methodology (SVAR), we will follow the method of working of Blanchard and Perotti (2002).We include only three variables: public spending G, Taxes (Direct taxes + Indirect taxes) TAX and GDP. The study concluded that there is a positive effect of public spending on the economic growth in Algeria, but it is smaller, and it is only in the short term and then turns into a negative impact in the medium and long term. This indicates that ordinary taxation is very limited to increase economic growth in Algeria with the strong presence of petroleum taxation. When a negative shock occurs in the price of a barrel then the effect is transferred directly to the public revenues and automatically to the public spending.
Nadir Laouar, Ali Daoudi, Patrick Dugué Copyright (c) 2023 https://www.ajol.info/index.php/cread/article/view/253895 Wed, 30 Aug 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Measuring the impact of strategic planning on organizational performance using the PLS approach https://www.ajol.info/index.php/cread/article/view/253898
The purpose of this paper is to contribute to the debate on the impact of strategic planning on organizational performance of the companies by presenting a theoretical model that highlights this relationship. Algeria has adopted a series of policies and programs to promote sustainable enterprises. Its success is linked to the awareness of emerging and potential entrepreneurs, particularly the contribution of the university in training and developing graduates, considered as the elite of the society. This research paper aims to measure the impact of personal perceptions of sustainable entrepreneurship on the intent of sustainable entrepreneurship. The study was conducted on a group of students who are about to graduate. The sample contained eighty-three (83) students from various disciplines of the university. It concluded that the perceptions of sustainable entrepreneurship have an impact on sustainable entrepreneurial intentions and that both the social and the environmental perceptions have a positive and statistically significant impact on sustainable entrepreneurial intention. However, the economic perception did not have a significant effect on the intention of sustainable enterprise.
Mouhamed Fouzi Boudia, Faouzia Hagain Copyright (c) 2023 https://www.ajol.info/index.php/cread/article/view/253920 Wed, 30 Aug 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Effect of accounting disclosure on returns of shares in the algerian stock exchange : application of var model https://www.ajol.info/index.php/cread/article/view/253924
This paper aims to investigate the relationship between annual document disclosure and the stock liquidity for companies listed on the Algeria stock market. VAR model was used to examine the impact of the market efficiency on the stock prices of the companies from 2000 to 2015. The findings indicate that there was no significant effect related to the timing of publication of financial information over a period of study on stock returns in the days around the publication days of annual financial statements; Accounting disclosure also affects, directly or indirectly, the decisions of investors, as well as activating the stock market and increasing the movement of trading and stock prices with it The effect of disclosure becomes clear when the information is published late or inaccurate or excellent in its presentation and its failure to rely on agreed accounting principles and standards, or result in a negative impact on the behavior of the investor, This affects the degree of risk that he is willing to bear according to his circumstances. The timing of the financial information release depends on the basic environment in which Algerian institutions operate.
Usually, the mortality of retirees is lower than that of the global population, essentially due to better living conditions and access to health care. Also, we aim to verify if mortality is different between the categories of survivor pensioners and to adapt the actuarial life tables accordingly, which may result in actuarial valuations more adapted to the risk function of each subpopulation. To this end, we compare three parametric models i.e., the Gompertz model, the Kannisto model, and the Heligman & Pollard model. Results show a significant difference between the life expectancy of the survivor pension beneficiaries and that of the direct retirees and between the categories of survivor pensioners.
Hafida Assas, Farid Flici, Ghania Saidi, Yasmine Hannani Copyright (c) 2023 https://www.ajol.info/index.php/cread/article/view/253936 Wed, 30 Aug 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Assessment of algerian interbank interest rate through extreme value theory https://www.ajol.info/index.php/cread/article/view/253937
This article tries to examine the evolution of interest rates in the Algerian interbank money market which focuses on the behavior of extreme.
