Focus and Scope

The Ethiopian Journal of Economics is a publication of the Ethiopian Economic Association. It is a bi annual publication devoted to the advancement of economics as a scientific discipline in Ethiopia. However, contributions of articles by non-Ethiopian and on economic experience of other countries are considered for publication. The Ethiopian Economic Association (EEA) is a non-profit and independent professional association established in 1991 with the aim of contributing to the economic advancement of Ethiopia, Promoting the professional interests of its members, promoting the study of Economics in the Country’s educational institutions, Promoting economic research and disseminating the findings of such researches in the country , providing for a for the discussion of economic issues and promoting professional contacts between the Ethiopian Economists abd those of others.
