Attitude Of Farmers Towards Extension Activities Of The Cross River State Agricultural Development Programme, Nigeria

Abstract



The study examined attitude of farmers towards extension activities of the cross river state agricultural development programme, Nigeria. Data was collected from 82 randomly selected farmers from the study area. Findings showed that respondents were not satisfied with the extension activities of the Cross River State agricultural development programme hence unfavourable attitude. It is therefore recommended that the government of Cross Rivers State ADP should improve extension services related to processing and storage, facilitating credit services, produce marketing, group formation so that clienteles can benefit from the services and improve their living standard. Also extension visits should be improved upon.
