Author Guidelines

The Ghana Mining Journal (GMJ) is a publication of the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) which focuses on the exchange of ideas, dissemination of information and promotion of knowledge arising out of research pertinent to the effective and sustainable exploitation of mineral resources particularly in Ghana and the world at large.

Original contributions in the following broad areas are suitable for publication in the Ghana Mining Journal:
Geomatics; Geology; Mineral Exploration; Mining and Quarrying; Geo-mechanics; Hydrology; Petroleum Engineering; Mineral Processing; Metallurgy; Material Science; Mineral Economics; Financial Evaluation and Risk Assessment; Mineral Policy; Environmental and Safety Engineering; Corporate Social Responsibility; Information and Communication Technology; Electrical and Electronic Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Mathematical Modelling; Mining Education; Communication and Entrepreneurship Skills.
