Abstract
The crisis of disbelief in Numbers 13-14
Numbers 13-14 is expounded in this paper as a narrative in which two commissioning type-scenes a reintertwined. Israel refuses to execute God’s commission and its eventual punishment is depicted from a sapiental viewpoint to be in full agreement with its own fatalistic wishes.
