Utilization of HIV/AIDS Information among Women in Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria

Abstract

This study was designed to investigate impeding factors of HIV/AIDS information utilization by women in Calabar South Local Government Area. The survey design was used for the study. The instrument used for data collection was the questionnaire. Descriptive statistics of frequencies and percentages were used to analysis the data. The findings revealed that lack of access to information was a major problem hindering utilization of HIV/AIDS information. It is therefore, recommended that the preferred sources of HIV/AIDS information be made available and accessible for effective utilization.
