Globalization and Conflict: The African Experience
AbstractAfrica to date has remained a victim of all economic and political reform agenda of the European dominated world, but now consummated in what has come to be known as globalization. These have thrown up a lot of conflicts in African. The struggle for economic resources has led to conflicts, electoral violence and thuggery amongst the people and parties for political position which is an instrument and platform for primitive accumulation in Africa. The implications of these reforms have been analysed in this paper, reasons for the incessant conflicts elucidated and some suggestions made.
