Focus and Scope

The inauguration of International Journal of Modern Anthropology since 2008 coincided with a time when some findings from anthropological research provided new conclusions against some classic questionable considerations and / or showed a tendency to do some syntheses of multidisciplinary data. The revelation of these two events marks the birth of a modern anthropology. The principal aim of this journal is to contribute to the development of this modern anthropology.

In fact, the traditional break between different specialties of biological anthropology and those of cultural anthropology led to a smash of the man study. In addition, the persistence of some classic questionable considerations even in some recent publications would have somewhat restrained the progression of the anthropological science. Modern anthropology comes to head all anthropological specialties and to permit the confrontation of knowledge, which will stimulate researchers to start real grand syntheses from multidisciplinary data. In addition, it comes to encourage anthropologists to get rid of questionable considerations.

Therefore, this journal publishes papers aiming to extend our understanding of the humankind in all its aspects. It concentrates on topics, which need syntheses of multidisciplinary data from different specialties of Biological and Cultural Anthropology:

- Human origins and evolution
- Genetic Anthropology
- Forensic anthropology
- Paleoanthropology
- Medical Anthropology
- Health and Population Sciences
- Human Biology
- Formation of the basic structure of the first bio-molecules common to humans and all living beings: Origins of life on Earth
- Psychological anthropology
- Anthropological linguistics
- Anthropology of religion
- Historical archaeology
- Ethnography
- Social Anthropology
