Abstract

The myths of rebirth developed by Sibilla Aleramo in her works are related to notions of power and strength. In the search for the Self in the Other, these myths interpret the constant tension towards an ideal of the harmonious merging of opposites. This analysis focuses on some fundamental archetypes emerging from Aleramo’s work and on the consequent relationship between self and writing.
