Students and staff beliefs of corruption in Nigerian universities

Abstract

This study was conducted with 200 members of the two university communities selected through simple random sampling. A test instrument the questionnaire for staff and students was developed by the researcher and validated by two experts in measurement and evaluation. This instrument was used for data collection. Three research questions were asked and the findings of the research show that allegations of corruption in Nigerian Universities are not imaginary and false. Intervention strategies were offered, in view that the menace of corruption in Nigerian Universities will be ameliorated.
