Diffeomorphism groups of connected sum of three products of spheres

Abstract

In this paper, we will prove that the order of the group ^~π₀(M₃⁺_(p,q) is 3 times the order of the group _πpSO(q +1)⊕ πpSO (p+1) )⊕ θ ^p+q+1 where p+_3(p,q) ≈ Diff⁺ (S^p x S^q # S^p x S^q # S^p x S^q.). Diff⁺(M) is the diffeomorphism of M onto itself which induces identity homomorphism on homology.
