The paper revealed that bad governance, poor service delivery, inadequate infrastructural amenities, poor management of public enterprise, moral decadence and general underdevelopment were among the impact of corruption on national development in democratic dispensation. It is recommended that three tiers of government, religious bodies and civil society organizations should organize workshops/seminars frequently to the political leaders and the entire public in order to inculcate in them the spirit of consciousness, probity and accountability so as to reduce the corruption to the barest minimal.
