Problems Of Resource Control In Nigeria And The Way Forward

Abstract

In recent times, the issues of Resources Control in Nigeria have generated a lot of controversies. In discussing these issues, this paper focuses primarily on Crude Oil and its allied products from an historic standpoint, the issues of Federalism, Inter-governmental Relations in Nigeria, Fiscal federalism and the distribution of Resources, Equity and Justice amongst others. The paper after exhaustively discussing some of these issues, proffers policy recommendations regarding the way forward.
