The technical college teacher in Nigeria: problems and prospects

Abstract

Technology education is the bedrock of the Nigerian society. This is to enable us meet up with the hi-tech opportunities that surround us. The teacher of technology has certain peculiarities which must be taken care of before he can effectively carry out his functions. The paper highlights the peculiar problems faced by the teacher of technical education in technical colleges and discusses the prospects ahead.
