Application of Educational Technology Resource and Systems Approach for Effective Teaching of English Language in Nigeria

Abstract

This paper examined the application of educational technology resource systems approach in teaching English Language highlighting some inadequacies observed in educational system in Nigeria. Language is the most unique gift to man from God for language differentiates man from animals. This forms the basis to discuss the need for effective teaching of English Language in our educational institutions The application of educational technology with emphasis on systems approach to instruction, educational resources and technologies where also discussed. The paper concluded by recommending the adoption of educational technology for effective teaching and learning English Language in Nigeria.
