Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become within a short time, one of the building blocks of modern society. Its introduction into the teaching and learning has received little attention for many years not minding its benefits. However, the need for total absorption into education has finally arisen. This paper is an attempt towards proposing strategies for the use of ICTs in the curriculum development in science. Science being a discipline that is concerned with active, creative, collaborative and evaluative learning is one of the disciplines suitable for ICT compliance. The strategies for making this possible are outlined and discussed in this paper.
