Profil étiologique des oesophagites en unité d’endoscopie digestive au CHU-Campus de Lomé

Abstract

Goals: To determine the frequency of the various types of oesophagites during the oesogastroduodenal fibroscopies and to compare it with the data of the literature.
Methods: It is about a retrospective study relating to 91 cases of oesophagite collages during the 1114 fibroscopies carried out in 5 years.
Results: We have in 5 years found ones annual frequency of 22.7% of the oesophagites. The oesophagite was peptic in 65.9% of the cases and mycosic in 31. 9%. The erythemato-congestive aspects were more current in the peptic oesophagites. The aspects of white coatinge and mycosic mounds are represented in 12.1% of the cases each one in the mycosic oesophagites. The indications of the endoscopy among patients reached of oesophagite peptic and oesophagite mycosic were the epigastralgies in respectively 39.6% and 34.4%.
Conclusion: The oesophagites are frequent in unit of digestive endoscopy U CHU-Campus of Lome, and are dominated by the peptic and mycosic oesophagites.
