Abstract

English Title: Lamba emigration and socioeconomic mutations in anie in the Northern centre of Togo

The Community of Agodjololo is one of the relics of the villages created during the colonial era in the Northern Centre of Togo by the French colonial administration in
the setting of the enhancement of Togo. This community is populated by the Lamba who originated from the prefectures of Doufelgou and Kéran in North of Togo, and
who have been transferred by the aforesaid administration. These people after having kept for a long time their customs in spite of contacts with the other peoples are today, more or less open to socioeconomic mutations. These changes are due to the emigration of the inhabitants of the said community to the Ifès and Ewé communities in South of Togo and quite lately to Benin and Nigeria.
