Lixus journal is an academic electronic periodical that focuses on the publication of scientific articles in the field of history and the humanities. Since its creation in 2016, the journal has endeavored to publish articles by researchers who meet generally accepted conditions and controls. It also aims to create bridges of intellectual and cultural communication between different researchers in order to enrich the Moroccan electronic library. The journal's articles are submitted for review. By a committee of professors and researchers with experience and expertise in the field of historical studies. The opinions expressed bind only the researcher who authored the article. Since 2018 AD, the journal's articles have become available in the bibliographic database of the Dar Al-Mandumah Foundation in Arab universities in the Middle East, and this is what has further motivated us to work to develop this scientific platform, to be at the level of the aspirations of researchers in the field of historical studies inside and outside the country, according to a scientific vision open to developments. Research in the humanities, and recalls the importance of scientific research in the history and civilization of Morocco.

-Working on the digital publication of specialized scientific articles in history and humanities.
- Openness to pioneering experiences in electronic publishing of scientific articles and working to set internationally recognized criteria.
-Paying attention to the disciplines of history, heritage, humanities, and history methods, and publishing researchers' articles according to internationally recognized publishing criteria.
-Developing scientific publishing rules in order to classify the journal in international databases.
