Abstract

the end of year 2022, Microbes and Infectious Diseases has been indexed in 3 prestigious international platform/database sites, namely EBSCO Periodicals, African Journals OnLine (AJOL), and Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). Theses actions would support the Journal in the road of indexing in Scopus. PMC, and WOS as soon as we can.
After successful release of 3 volumes (10 issues) of Microbes and Infectious Diseases, we’ve received 316 submissions from different countries (Africa: Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Senegal, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Burkina Faso; Asia: Iraq, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, and China; Europe: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Austria, and Italy; Latin America: Cuba, Brazil, and Australia). Although many of our papers are still in the peer review process, we have already published 302 papers online with a 37% rejection rate. The median time from submission to online publication is 36 days (To be continued).
