Reversal of Roe VS Wade – Implications on Women’s Health in Malawi

Abstract

The United States Supreme Court in on 24th June, 2022 reversed the Abortion Law enacted in 1973 which made safe abortion available to women in that country. It now depends on the individual States to decide which way to go. Almost immediately, 22 of the 50 States reversed the law and
outlawed abortion. The argument for the reversal is largely religious describing abortion as egregiously wrong.
