Coalitions and alliances demarcate crossroads in ANC trajectories

Abstract

A number of scenarios are being considered by analysts in light of the ANCs Electoral Conference in December. A primary concern is the future of the ANC. Are splits more likely as South Africa heads to elections in 2019? The writer gives us some answers by looking at what has happened to the ANC since it came to power.
