The university and public policy in Africa: may tomorrow be more than just another name for today

Abstract

In this article the authors deliver a scathing criticism of white and western means of knowledge production typical of our universities and argue for a process of decolonisation that is simultaneously theoretical and political to face up to the asymmetrical power relations in the global scholarly community.
