The children\'s knowledge of correct lifting techniques was assessed immediately after teaching, and six weeks after teaching with practical and written tests.
Result: The analysis of the result showed no significant difference at P<0.05 for written test but significant difference for practical test between guided discovery and lecture demonstration with guided discovery method only.
Conclusion: It was concluded that lecture demonstration with guided discovery and lecture demonstration methods were more effective in teaching children proper lifting techniques than guided discovery method.
