Chronic Granulocytic Leukaemia and Sickle Cell Anaemia: A Case Report
Abstract
The occurrence of haematological malignancies in patients with sickle cell anaemia is uncommon. We hereby present a case of Chronic Granulocytic Leukaemia [CGL] in a 36 year old Nigerian with sickle cell anaemia. The modalities of treatment common to both diseases are discussed.
