La fracture péri-prothétique de la hanche type C de Vancouver, ce qu’il ne faut pas faire
Abstract
We report the case of a 103-year old patient with a recurring femur fracture on hip prosthesis. At six months of follow-up, the facture was healed. The review of this case shows that osteosynthesis should not be carried out as an emergency procedure. Careful planning with appropriate implants and respect of fundamental principles of osteosynthesis should remain a priority if we want to avoid therapeutic failure. Keywords: Fracture, prosthesis, disassembly
