Pharmacology & Toxicology of Natural Medicines (ISSN: 2756-6838) is an open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge of natural medicines. The journal is published only in English and targets researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in the field of natural medicines, and those seeking to develop novel drug candidates and therapies from natural sources.
Aims and Scope
The journal aims to advance knowledge of natural medicines to promote quality healthcare by discovering new therapies and modifying existing ones. It reports all aspects of the pharmacology and toxicology of extracts, extract fractions, isolated compounds and their synthetic derivatives, and formulated products of natural origin (e.g., from plants, mushrooms, animals, microbes, and marine creatures). Manuscripts are published as original articles, reviews, short communications, and letters to the editor after a fast but rigorous peer review process.
Specific areas within the scope of the journal include:
• Reports on safety and/or efficacy of natural extracts, fractions, and isolated compounds or their synthetic derivatives.
