Peer Review

The African Journal of Environment and Agriculture is composed of volunteer readers belonging to the international scientific community, specialized in the fields of agriculture and sustainable management of the environment. Articles are submitted to two or three readers selected by the Editorial Board. These readers remain anonymous to the authors and the authors also remain anonymous to the readers. Readers must submit their opinion within 45 days. The Editor generally collects two independent opinions. In the event of conflicting opinions, another reader may also be appointed to act as an arbitrator between the two readers. The revised version of a manuscript must be returned within two months of the Editor's decision, a re-submission after this date is considered as the submission of a new article. However, if the revision requires more time, additional time may be granted to the author. Manuscripts under review are subject to in-depth comments allowing the authors to improve their work.
