La tumeur de Buschke-Löwenstein : à propos d’un cas au service d’urologie de l’hôpital Laquintinie Douala

Abstract

La tumeur de Buschke-Lowenstein est une affection peu fréquente. C’est une affection due à une infection sexuellement transmissible à Humanpapilloma virus. La dégénérescence en tumeur maligne n’est pas rare. La récidive après traitement est fréquente. Nous rapportons un cas de tumeur de Buschke-Lowenstein chez un patient de 56 ans séronégatif au virus de l’immunodéfiscience humaine et polygame. Il a bénéficié d’un traitement chirurgical sans récidive à trois ans. Nous insistons sur l’exérèse chirurgicale de toute la lésion avec l’analyse histologique de la pièce opératoire entière à la recherche d’un carcinome épidermoïde. La prévention par une éducation sexuelle, la lutte contre les maladies sexuellement transmissibles et la surveillance après exérèse chirurgicale sont préconisées.

SUMMARY
Buschke-Lowenstein tumoris an uncommon condition.It is a condition resulting froma sexually transmitted Human Papilloma Virus infection. Degenerationinto a malignant tumoris not uncommon. Recurrence after treatment is common. We report a case of Buschke- Lowenstein tumor in a patient of 56 years. He was polygame and seronegative to Human Immuno deficiency Virus. A complete resection of the lesion was performed without recurrence at three years.The surgical removal ofthe entire lesion and histological analysis of the entire specimen looking for squamous cell carcinoma are recommended. We recommended also prevention through sex education; the fight against sexual transmitted diseases and surveillance after surgical excision.
