South African Journal of Chemistry was 100 years old in 2018. The journal is published by the South African Chemical Institute and has been publishing high quality papers, in all fields of Chemistry, since its inception. The Journal went fully electronic in 2000 and ALL issues since 1918 are freely available through open access online (http://journals.co.za/content/journal/chem/browse).
