Designer Ligands. Part 13. Synthesis and Catalytic Activity of Transition Metal Complexes of a Macrocyclic Ligand
Abstract
Copper(I), copper(II), cobalt(II) and zinc(II) complexes of a macrocyclic, multidentate Schiff-base ligand have been prepared and, with the exception of the zinc(II) complex, have been shown to exhibit biomimetic catecholase activity.
